My overall responsibility is the strategic leadership of the academy,  ensuring all students reach their full potential in every area.

I am Deputy Headteacher and Designated Safeguarding Lead. My responsibilities are safeguarding, pastoral care, behaviour & attendance. I work with a very talented team of caring professionals. I am also proud to work closely with the MFL & EAL department and love seeing all the work they do in supporting and embracing the diverse community we serve. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music (usually 90s) and my new passion for running!

I am responsible for behaviour and pastoral care in terms of expectations and interventions.  I lead the Heads of Year and support them in creating a supportive and caring environment, whilst driving high standards and expectations for all of our students.  I line manage the following subjects: Business Studies, Computer Science, Creative iMedia and ICT.  I also organise parents’ evenings throughout the school year.

I love spending time with my family, am an avid Villa fan, and enjoy listening to The Beatles.

I am an Assistant Headteacher for Curriculum at Oldbury and a teacher of Mathematics.  I work alongside subject leaders to develop a broad and balanced curriculum which is adapted to meet the needs of all our learners. The curriculum delivered also ensures that learners develop into resilient and confident leaders of tomorrow.  My work remit also includes supporting year 9 students through the Pathways process to ensure that students select subjects for KS4 that complement both their academic ability and support their
career prospects.
