Annual celebration events are firmly entrenched in the history of our school. Since 1937 students have been recognised and rewarded for their talents, efforts and achievements. This celebration event, gives us grounds for tremendous optimism as we look towards the future. As always, the main purpose of this event is to recognise not only academic achievement, but also creative, personal and social achievement. In addition, we endeavour to recognise such things as progress, effort, determination and commitment to the school and the community, along with the development of personal qualities and attributes. Naturally, we like to recognise and reward many students.  It therefore goes without saying that there are many young people who, although not mentioned on these video clips, will receive the recognition and praise they deserve at our internal rewards assemblies. At Oldbury Academy we pride ourselves on our ethos of achievement, aspiration and success and will continue to recognise and reward our most valuable assets –  the students!
