    My overall responsibility is the strategic lead for Behaviour, Attitudes and Safeguarding at Oldbury Academy. I am also responsible for the promotion of outstanding attendance to school. Outside of school I enjoy participating in sports and travelling with family and friends .

    I am responsible for behaviour and pastoral care in terms of ensuring expectations and promoting a safe environment for our students to thrive. I lead the Heads of Year and support them in creating a supportive and caring environment. I co-ordinate the support some of our students receive within external settings, including managed moves and alternative provisions. I also organise parents’ evenings throughout the school year. On a persona note, I love spending time with my family, am an avid Villa fan, and enjoy listening to The Beatles.

    I am part of the pastoral senior team, ensuring that our pupils receive the highest standards of support and the opportunities to develop the skills they will need to thrive in modern Britain. I am responsible for the line management of SEND, Careers, and Year 7. I am the designated teacher for Looked After Children and the Senior Mental Health Lead for the school. I have three children of my own, I love going on holidays and I read every single day.

    I am responsible for student outcomes, in particular pupils who are pupil premium, higher ability and special educational needs. I also line manage humanities, applied learning and sport. On a personal note, I just started managing my sons u7 football team and trying to keep fit but I am struggling due to the fact I cant stop eating curry and cheese!

    I am an Assistant Headteacher for Curriculum at Oldbury and a teacher of Mathematics.  I work alongside subject leaders to develop a broad and balanced curriculum which is adapted to meet the needs of all our learners. The curriculum delivered also ensures that learners develop into resilient and confident leaders of tomorrow.  My work remit also includes supporting year 9 students through the Pathways process to ensure that students select subjects for KS4 that complement both their academic ability and support their
    career prospects.
